Elfriede

My name is Elfriede and I am a licensed Reiki Master/Teacher. I retired from the Telephone Company in 1990. My duties there included administration of their Workers' Compensation Program, sickness and disability benefits, 401K plans and retirement benefits. I am also an ordained Elder, PCUSA and a member of the church council. I was first attuned to Reiki in 1994 and became a Reiki Master in 2006. I started offering Reiki to people outside of my family after my son-in-law had a profound experience when I gave him Reiki. There have been many instances where I have experienced and seen others experience healing and wholeness. I truly love this gentle healing energy.

I am part owner of my family's farm in Indiana where I was born. The farm has always been a place of retreat for me. I often go there to meditate and regroup. I have a very large extended family and thoroughly enjoy the times we can be together. My favorite thing, of course, is being a Grandma. As I get older I have a greater appreciation for the spiritual aspects of my life and how that has been enhanced by being a Reiki practitioner.
